It was a grim start! Mother nature didn't cooperate much by raining out the last set of the Saturday night band and continuing until 10AM Sunday morning, but we made the best of it.
Once "Great Train Robbery" started playing and the drinks started flowing, no body noticed that it was 60 degrees with a 20 knot north wind. Long pants, sweatshirts and jackets were the fashion of the day.
A couple hundred guests packed the inside dock bar, the upstairs bar and the side tent bar, which had a wind barrier. Happy hour prices all day, cheap sandwiches and no cover charge made all who braved the weather happy.
To help us all remember the past, we had a lot of old photos made up as collages and displayed throughout the bar. Most will stay up all season, so if you didn't make it to the party, you'll still have a chance to stop by and veiw twenty years of bikini contests.
Although the weather was disappointing, all of us at Red Eye's had a great time seeing our friends. We thank all who stopped by and hope everyone else will make a few visits during our anniversay year.
